MICHAEL KLEINFELD

Biography

Michael Kleinfeld, born 13th July 1993 in Mülheim a.d.R. Germany is a German film director.
After finishing his film-bachelor at Macromedia University Cologne in 2017 he worked on his first feature movie “Sanitatem”.
Which world premiered at the international film festival Shanghai and German premiered at internation film festival Hof. The movie started recently on streaming.

During the corona pandemic he produced his first comedy shortfilm “Lieferandate”. Which premiered at international film festival Emden in 2022.

He is currently writing a script for a football comedy and developing a horror film, with an Asian approach.
Michael ist Mitglied des Regieverbands und lebt in Köln.

„Sanitatem“ was Michael Kleinfelds Debut-Feature

With a limited budget but abundant talent, he was able to motivate his team strongly under challenging conditions (heavy snowfall, extreme cold), resulting in the post-apocalyptic film premiering at the A-Festival Shanghai and having its German premiere at the prestigious international Hofer Filmtage, all with a production budget of under €35,000.
